  • What is the definition of consenting adults for heterosexual marriages? It seems to me that this question has already been settled. No need for special new definitions or interpretations. Just stop discriminating based on gender and the issue is resolved.

  • your statement about secular laws is a large part of the problem...if you will look at the 10 commandments and the Bible...they are the basis for many of our laws...the reason being is that America was founded with the desire for freedom of religion not the freedom from religion.

  • All spewing equal rights have no moral force since most of you are perfectly willing to strip personhood from a group that makes your life inconvient using exactly the same words that were used to strip personhood from blacks in the Dred Scott decision. Roe v Wade is worded exactly the same.

  • On "fraud". How is this fraud? A man & a woman get married. They don't love each other, but they want the property benefits of marriage. This is not new - it has a long and glorious history. Many people get married for love; others get married for property. So what?

  • Randy, Homosexuality in its essence is not lifestyle. It is state of being. A man can be abstinant his entire life and be homosexual. A woman can have sex only with men and still be lesbian. Sexual orientation is not about what you do - it's about physical and emotional attraction.
